Known as the "View From Sunset Hill" this
photo is taken looking east over town.
The dirt road in the center of
the picture is Washington and the first row of houses
running left to right
at the bottom of the photo are facing east onto Holcomb. The
steeples
of both churches dominated the landscape then and can still be seen today.
