A VINTAGE VIEW OF
CLARKSTON, MICHIGAN

REPRODUCED BY THE CLARKSTON
COMMUNITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY

Circa: 1912

This view is taken from the dock of the Deer Lake Inn, once located a short
distance from White Lake Road on the Dixie Highway side of the lake.  From
there it looks across to the hills on the northeast side of the lake.  The Village of
Clarkston would be just over those hills.  The Inn was a very popular spot for tourists
who took the train out from the city for a vacation on the lake.
