The large window in the front of the Museum was&nbsp;A Farmhouse Window&nbsp;with items from the everyday life of a local farmwife and farmer. Photos of the Stott family farm and the Morgan barn raising serve as the backdrop of this vignette.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"291\" height=\"332\" src=\"http:\/\/www.clarkstonhistorical.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ex-6-2-drop.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2098\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.clarkstonhistorical.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ex-6-2-drop.png 291w, https:\/\/www.clarkstonhistorical.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/ex-6-2-drop-263x300.png 263w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 291px) 100vw, 291px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once inside the museum, the cases represented were as follows:\u00a0&#8220;Through The Doctor\u2019s Window&#8221;\u00a0addressed the daily life of the town doctor and featured the story of Dr. Charles Gray Robertson.\u00a0\u00a0&#8220;A Window Into Communication&#8221;\u00a0talked about the importance of our rural mail carriers and featured carriers William Rockwell and Elmer Vliet.\u00a0&#8220;A Political Window&#8221;\u00a0showcased the small town election and highlighted the many civic activities of George King, postmaster, election official, school board director, newspaper columnist and farmer.\u00a0&#8220;A Storefront Window&#8221; highlighted the Addis family and their business; Addis\u2019s Soda Fountain which stood for many years at the corner of Main &amp; Washington Streets.
