Exhibit 23: July 2011 – May 2012

Clarkston’s Kitchens:
History in the Baking!

This display surely offered “food for thought” to the museum visitor. The focus was on early cooking practices and recipes as well as local businesses that provided supplies, celebrations that included food (cake anyone?) and even old-time traditions such as funeral dinners. Exhibits included: ‘Food for Funds’, ‘Food on Four Legs’, ‘Food for Fun’, ‘Food that Saved the Day’ and ‘Food to Die For’; a great exhibit that left you hungry for more.
