The 1932 Bank Robbery [1] [2] [3] [4]

The robbers changed their clothes so they looked like farmers. Then they drove off in a Model A Ford to a farm in northern Lapeer. They thought no one would be able to find them.

The robbers were careless. A young boy, who lived on a farm next to the bandits in Lapeer, found out about the robbery. The bandits were afraid he would tell the police, so they forced him to join them in their next robbery.
